I am Emma-Claire Parkin-Bowes. I am a Licensed LTA Level 3 Tennis Coach with a wealth of coaching experience. I have been involved in coaching younger children from the age of 10. I have a BSc in Sports Science and Biology and an LLB in Law. I also have coaching qualifications in hockey, tag rugby and cricket. I have played Junior International tennis representing South Africa. I have played International Hockey and Cricket as a Junior.
I have grown a successful Tennis Programme at Hazlegrove Preparatory School for children aged 4 to 13 years old. I teach beginners to County standard, including Ladies and Gentlemen. I currently have a pupil in America on a Tennis Scholarship, who I have taught since he was 4 years old.
I enjoy working with children and adults from Beginner up to Club Team Level and further.
Prior to this, I spent a number of years working in the Sports Development department of the East Riding of Yorkshire Council. I delivered Sports Coaching sessions for school children, people with educational needs, adults and people with disabilities.
